About Us

Terrace Station Charitable Trust
Terrace Station was the home of Sir John Hall, runholder, politician and democratic reformer and his wife Rose, Lady Hall, and is still lived in by their descendants.

The Terrace Station Charitable Trust was established in 2002 to preserve and maintain the homestead and associated farm buildings for the benefit of the public.

The objectives of the Trust are to:
  • Preserve and maintain as an historic place, the homestead with its contents, the farm buildings and other possessions associated with Sir John and Lady Hall and their descendants;
  • To conserve and facilitate access to the collection of station records and papers;
  • To maintain the extensive historic garden;
  • To encourage the creation of published works recording the history of the life and times of Rose, Lady Hall and Sir John Hall.
