Buy homegrown plants and seeds from Terrace Station

Kate Foster, caretaker and guardian of Terrace Station, has vast experience of the plants in this garden. She has tended, propagated and nurtured what grows here and in the process has discovered what will thrive in this environment. Kate loves sharing not just the stories of this special place, but also the plants that, once established, seem to multiply and expand with some even heading into the paddocks!

Terrace Station plants are available to buy when the garden is open (check the dates here), and by appointment the week following an Open Garden Sunday (please email to check availability and arrange a time to visit). All plants must be collected from Terrace Station.

The plants usually available include:
  • Galanthus nivalis (snowdrop) from July - September
  • Hellebore orientalis from August - October
  • Primula (primrose) from August - October
  • Violets from August - October
  • Trilliums - September - October
  • Cardiocrinum - September - October
