Garden visits – no bookings required.
August 11: ‘Snowdrop Sunday’ walk in the oak woodland and then in the
Homestead garden where, as well as the Galanthus nivalis in mass planting,
there are hellebores and aconites flowering beneath the hundred-year-old trees.
September 8: Violets and primroses flower within the woodland
and brighten the homestead garden.
October 6: Bluebells are spreading naturally throughout the woodland
and are being kept in control in the homestead garden.
November 3: Aquilegias, digitalis and other summer flowers are beginning.
11 a.m. – 3 p.m. $10.00 per adult EFTPOS not available
Bring your picnic to have on the lawn,
your children to play hide and seek and to climb trees
and please leave your dog at home.
There will be plants for sale.
Please note: On these days, the homestead is not able to be looked into.
