Leave a Bequest
Please consider remembering Terrace Station Charitable Trust in your Will.
A bequest will help preserve and maintain the Terrace Station buildings and contents, archives and garden for the benefit of future generations. This is a long-term task. Your gift will help secure the survival of one of new Zealand's most important heritage properties.
Leaving a legacy
There are several ways you can remember Terrace Station Charitable Trust in your Will to help generate income to support the Trust’s many ongoing preservation programmes:
1. You may wish to leave a stated amount of money;
2. you may wish to leave a share (percentage) of your assets;
3 you may wish to leave part or all of the residue of your estate.
What does this involve?
All this requires is a simple provision in your Will. Your solicitor or legal advisor will help you and can suggest the appropriate wording to ensure you achieve all you wish for your family and others. You can find out more about leaving bequest at the Philanthropy New Zealand website. Please consider leaving your bequest for general purposes although we also welcome bequests for specific projects (but please talk to us about this first).
Thank you again - you can be confident that your gift will make a difference and will always be remembered. Please let us know thus enabling us to thank you now, rather than your Executor later. Simply write to us or send an email.
