Terrace Station was the home of Sir John Hall, runholder, politician and democratic reformer and his wife Rose, Lady Hall, and is still lived in by their descendants. The Terrace Station Charitable Trust was established in 2002 to preserve and maintain the homestead and associated farm buildings for the benefit of the public. The objectives of the Trust are to:
Terrace Station Charitable Trust is a registered charity, Registration Number CC34360 Support the Terrace Station Charitable Trust Maintaining a large group of historic buildings is an expensive undertaking. Our main sources of income are rental income from the homestead and managers house and charges for visitors. Although this covers our general expenses, we depend on sponsorship, donations and grants to enable us to pursue long term projects such as a visitor centre; and displays in the shearing shed. Most of the gardening is done by voluntary work (over 500 hours each year). There are many ways you can help the work of Terrace Station Charitable Trust.
